IGNITING STUDENT PASSION FOR LEARNING AND REFLECTION THROUGH CREATIVE PLAY
We want students to discover a new passion for learning literacy, numeracy, science and engineering concepts through engaging resources. Students can explore their creativity and share what they have created. This sharing is where the most learning happens.
Staff at Creative Discoveries believe in professional development and we strive to stay current on contemporary program delivery. The resources we use are cutting edge and recent.
We work with parents, schools and organisations to deliver meaningful lessons to students. We want to make sure that we stay true to the Australian Curriculum and research based pedagogical approaches to learning.
It is our mission to work with parents, teachers and organisations to provide engaging LEGO® robotic lessons in a meaningful and positive way. We feel that, fundamentally, students need to know what they are learning; why they are learning the new concept; and how to build new knowledge upon this new concept. Please view the rest of the site for more information on our services and feel free to contact us for more information regarding how we can benefit your family, school or organisation.
We can also assist your school or club prepare for local and national competitions using LEGO® resources. We love the spirit of competition and feel that it is a great experience for all students to participate in these events.
GENERATING BIG IDEAS
TO MAKE A BETTER WORLD
Activities are designed to recreate real world problems and students use a researched based process to find a creative solution.
We use LEGO® BuildToExpress resources to allow students to express their feelings on topics such as self esteem, bullying and modelled positive behaviour. Students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum can use these resources as an alternative kinaesthetic way to explain thoughts or scenarios or communicate their feelings.
This kit also caters for integrated humanities and liberal arts content that is linked to the Australian Curriculum.
